We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium-secure services, and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorders and our high-secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broadmoor High Secure Hospital for a full-time ward administrator position on Sundown Ward. We are looking for a very motivated person with the ability to work under pressure and a preference for working in a fast-moving environment. This is a dynamic, multicultural role that demands good communication, effective organizational skills, and a good working understanding of Microsoft Office packages. You must be able to prioritize and manage your workload confidently to meet tight deadlines and juggle conflicting demands. Above all, you’ll be a committed team player and hard-working, proactive, and committed to the support of our core team. Due to the nature of the role, we require high levels of confidence and professionalism.
Job Duties

- Your duties will include working closely with the ward clinical nurse manager and liaising with both internal staff and external agencies.
- You will have a good standard of general education and be proficient in the use of Microsoft software.
- You will need to be organized and have excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work using your own initiative as well as being a team player is essential, and so too are excellent interpersonal skills.
