What we need:

• A NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) qualification is a minimum requirement.
• Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
• Transport experience or knowledge is essential for this position.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.

What does the role:

• Coordinate and support HSE initiatives at sites and ensure their effective implementation and compliance.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and communication of all relevant HSE policies at sites and ensure that all employees are informed and involved.
• Support the HSE function in implementing the HSE business plan.
• Provide daily support and guidance on safety, health, and environmental (HSE) matters to ensure sites comply with applicable legal requirements.
• Achieve annual safety, health, and environmental protection targets assessed through the performance management system.
